When your character is created within the game, it is allocated a randomly generated name. This consists of your kingdom number (eg. K79), followed by a dash and a sequence of 10 alphanumeric characters.
Many players would prefer to have a character name that is more personalized. Initially it can be difficult to discover how to change your character’s name to one of your own choosing.
How to Change Your Name
Go to your Home View. In the top left-hand corner is an icon with your avatar. Tap on this and you will open the Lord Info screen.
Halfway down on the right-hand side you will see a pencil inside a square.
Tap on this to invoke a pop-up window which will allow you to change your name.
Each character is given the ability to change their name once.
