In Puzzles & Conquest you have two built-in chat options you are able to use. The Chat is located as a bar in the bottom frame of every screen showing a preview of the two most recent messages and an icon indicating which channel you are currently viewing.
Chat Channels
There are two different channels which can be used to communicate with other players. These are the Alliance Channel and the Kingdom Channel.
Switch between the two channels by tapping on the Chat bar. This opens the Chat window, and you can then pick the channel to view using the two buttons at the top.
Alliance Channel
The Alliance Channel is for internal communication, which only alliance members can see.
Since it is shown on every screen, this is the most reliable way of contacting other members of your alliance.
Kingdom Channel
The Kingdom Channel is for a global communication, and everyone in the kingdom will see it.
Emoticons
You can use Emoticons by pressing the Symbol next to the textfield. There you can find a bunch of Emoticons you are able to use in the chat. Unfortunately, it is not possible to use the common Emojies you do in different messaging apps.
