Alliance Help (also known as “Speedup Help”) is a facility that allows your team members to speed up your building, training, researching and healing.
Overview
The other players in your Alliance can help you by speeding up many of the tasks you do daily, at no cost to you. If the task supports speedup help from other Alliance members, then a “Help” button will be available for the task. Tasks that support speedup help from your Alliance team include healing, building, researching, and training.
When you ask for “Help” for a particular task, your name and the task name are added to a list on the “Speedup Help” page. Your requests will be at the top of the page, and those for other Alliance members will be below that (in order of requested time). You can choose to offer help to others on this page, either individually or in bulk.
Help Incentives
You are incentivised to provide speedup help to other Alliance members regularly whilst playing. Each help you provide rewards you with 800 Alliance coins, which can be spent in the Alliance Shop (to a maximum of 40,000 per day). Additionally, one of the Daily Quests (worth 5 pts) is to provide speedup help 10 times.
What does Speedup Help Do?
Each time a team mate responds to your help request, the amount of time remaining for the task is reduced by a small amount (something like a minute).
The actual amount is dependent on the “efficiency” of your help request – the greater the efficiency, the more time is knocked off the task.
The amount of speedup provided is unaffected by the size of the task, or the length of time remaining.
Where is the Speedup Help Page?
The Speedup Help page can be found in two ways.
The first is by clicking on the Alliance View at the bottom of the Information frame. This view has a set of buttons at the bottom, one of which is the “Alliance Help” button. Clicking on this button will bring up the Speedup Help page.
Additionally, whenever one of your Alliance team requests help, there is an icon on the right of the Information frame resembling a handshake. If present, you can click on this and it will take you to the Speedup Help page. The number on the icon is the count of how many of your team are currently requesting help.
Help Attempts
Each of your help requests can be responded to by only a certain number of your team mates. This is known as the “speedup help cap”, and is the maximum number of players that can attempt to help you with a task.
The only factor governing your “speedup help cap” is the level of your Embassy. Prior to building an Embassy in your territory, you can request help on any given task by only 2 team mates. As soon as you have built your Embassy (level 1), this number doubles to 4. Each upgrade of your Embassy increases both the number of help attempts allowed, and the efficiency of those attempts.
